Delivery to

Is the delivery of the bike and accessories free of charge?

Yes! If you buy an Electra bicycle, electric bike or accessories for at least €99, we will deliver free of charge within Estonia. Check out our comprehensive terms and conditions.

When will I receive my ordered bike and accessories?

We know that fast delivery is important, which is why we process orders diligently from Monday to Friday. We do our best to dispatch your order within 24 hours of receipt, but please note that we cannot always guarantee this. Generally, shipments within Estonia will arrive at your specified destination within 2-3 working days after the order is placed and payment received. In very exceptional cases, we have the right to deliver within up to 15 calendar days. Rest assured, once your order has been successfully completed, you will receive an order confirmation email. Orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will be dispatched on the following Monday or, in the case of a holiday, on the next working day.

How will my ordered bike and accessories get to me?

The bike will arrive fully assembled. All you have to do is start cranking. We will deliver the bike and the electric bike to you by courier. The courier will contact you before the bike is delivered. We will send the accessories by parcel post. You will receive an SMS and an e-mail when the parcel arrives at the parcel machine. Once your bike or accessory has been delivered, please check its condition immediately, as any complaints and damages discovered later are beyond our responsibility. However, we always try to work with reliable delivery partners to avoid such incidents.

Can I return the bike I ordered?

We understand that finding the perfect bike can sometimes be a challenge. If your bike or accessories don’t meet your expectations, don’t worry! You have 14 days from the date of purchase to return your purchase and get a full refund. In order to receive a refund, we ask that all returned goods are in perfect condition and unused, exactly as when they arrived. This means the original carton, packaging, labels, instructions and other accompanying items. The bicycle must be packed as it was when it arrived before being returned to the courier.

What do I need to do if I want to return a bike or accessories?

To return your bike or accessories, please contact our customer service at electra@electrarattad.ee or +372 5093687. We will send a courier to pick up your bike. Accessories that arrived by parcel post, please also return by parcel post.

How much does it cost to return your bike?

Rest assured that once we have received and inspected your returned bike and/or accessories, we will refund your money. From which we will deduct a reasonable transport charge of €35 per bike. If you are returning accessories by parcel post, please pay the parcel post fee immediately at the time of dispatch.

Most asked questions about electric bikes

Do I have to ride an electric bike?

Yes, Electral is only for electric bikes with a cranking assist motor. This means that if you don’t crank the pedals, the motor won’t activate. The motor will give you an extra power when cranking, from +40% to +300% depending on the selected power mode and motor type.

How far can I ride an electric bike?

Bosch with mid-engine models: about 75 km on average on a single charge.
Hyena with rear-wheel motor with nuts: about 40 km on average on a single charge.
But this is influenced by very many factors:

  • the weight of the rider with the bike – for example, the heavier the backpack you carry, the more energy you need.
  • engine and battery power – a high-quality, smart engine saves energy and increases driving range.
  • the environment – road quality, wind, temperature, etc. play a very important role.

So if you don’t have a backpack, the wind is at your back, the road is downhill and smooth and it’s warm outside, your journey on a single charge will be much longer than the opposite. So, depending on different conditions, the range of mileage can be very wide: 30-160 km with Bosch engines and 20-60 km with Hyena engines. See also the Bosch mileage calculator. What is the maximum speed of an electric bike?

In principle, there is no speed limit on an electric bike, but the motor stops assisting after 25km/h.

How long does it take to recharge an electric bike battery?

Electra uses two types of batteries. The Bosch 500Wh battery charges to 100% in 4.5 hours and the Hyena 250Wh battery charges to 100% in 4 hours.

Do I have to take the battery off the bike for charging?

You don’t have to, but you can if you want. The Bosch battery can be charged while attached to the electric wheel, and can also be charged when the battery is removed from the electric wheel. The Hyena battery can only be charged while on the electric wheel.

Can the battery be removed from the bike?

Yes, Bosch batteries are available. You don’t need any special tools. All you need is a key (supplied) to unlock the battery. The battery lock is included for security purposes. Hyena batteries cannot be removed, they are fully integrated.

Can I ride my electric bike if it’s raining?

Yes, because Electra’s motors and batteries are IP 54 (dust and splash-proof), so driving in humid conditions is not a problem.

Can I ride an electric bike in winter when it’s below freezing?

Yes, you can, but you have to bear in mind that below zero temperatures, the battery’s lifespan is significantly reduced.

Can the battery be charged outdoors in winter?

Not if the temperature is below 0C degrees! Suitable temperature for charging is room temperature.

How to wash an electric wheel?

The electric wheel must not be washed with a pressure washer, especially the electronic parts! If your electric bike is very dusty, we recommend that you clean off most of the dirt from the tyres with water from a hose, avoiding pouring water directly on the motor and battery, and then clean the rest of the bike with a damp cloth. Finally, the engine and battery should be dried with a soft cloth. It would also be a good idea to oil the chain afterwards.

Bank payments

Bank payments are used in our e-shop. You can pay via all bank links used in Estonia. You can also pay by invoice.
