In fact, it all started at the Kalasadama Cultural Centre. It was a cool seasonal event where Alvar Reisner, Henrik Hürden, Steve Vanoni, Kristjan Holm, Toivo Freeman Pilt and Lepatriinu showed their art. They were joined by big bike enthusiast Peep Viljat, thanks to whom Electra city bikes made their way to the Culture Koda. Perfectly matching the colourful art and accentuating the atmosphere.
One day, a no less colourful crowd came through the Culture Dome. Lepatrix. She had taken a picture of a cruiser in the saddle as a joke and when Peep sent it to me, I knew we needed her!
Before I met Lepatrinu, I only knew one of his songs, “Up the Sky“, and suddenly the singer was in the picture. We were on the lookout for a colourful personality to be a fashion ambassador for Electra bikes and voila! Another example of ask and you shall receive! And so Lepatrin became our (bike) fashion ambassador and I became an admirer of his art.
At the charity auction at ArtDepoon Friends’ Month, everyone was convinced that Lepatrinut has been blessed with many talents. It’s amazing how some people have been blessed with so much creativity. Only Lepatriinu could hold a pop-up auction one night, hoping to sell all the art for charity that evening. She is probably the one and only artist who has succeeded in this.
Therefore, it is a natural progression of things that I want to share this news on the Electrarattad blog! Especially at a time when every positive piece of news is worth its weight in gold.
