We went to the annual gathering at the European headquarters of Electra Bicycle Company in Hamburg, where we could take a look at the new trendy bicycle models of the new season and cool accessories. Just like in fashion, plans are already being made for the new season in bicycle fashion. Next summer is still far away!😊
What are the new Electra trends in 2021?
It can still be seen all over the world that the popularity of electric bicycles is still growing and shows no sign of abating characters. In several countries, the sales of electric bicycles are already numerically the same or even higher than the sales of conventional bicycles. The electric bike is here to stay. That’s for sure. Experts predict that sales of electric bicycles will multiply by 2025. So what is so good about this electric bicycle that many people want it? It is believed to be freedom of choice – the freedom to drive as the mood or the situation demands. If I want, I drive with a “bone steam engine” and if it’s fast or I want to drive far, I always have the opportunity to use a small but powerful helper in the form of an engine. You no longer have to worry about uphill drives and headwinds, and long distance is no longer an issue.
Thus, keeping up with the trends, the new season sees an important addition to the Electra electric bicycle range. It is also significant that, for the first time in the Electra range, there are more models with an electric motor than models without a motor. Electric bicycles are even more comfortable, more technically advanced and trendier in appearance. In this way, everyone should find a suitable electric “friend”. You don’t have to compromise on quality or style, because with Electra, quality and good looks always go hand in hand!

There are also different types of attachment, for example baskets attached to the luggage frame (front and/or rear) MIK a basket with a fastening system and which has been popular for years and can easily be taken from the handlebars. Classic wicker baskets with leather straps attached to the handlebars are a timeless classic that Electra also offers in the new season. I guess there’s no point in mentioning the large selection of colors again…
And if it still seems that your bike is somehow “lean”, you can add coffee post holder, lights, additional luggage rack or bicycle horn. If your bicycle often has to be parked outside, there is an opportunity to purchase a weatherproof wheel cover .
All in all, it seems that the new Electra cycling season will be exciting and colorful. Like life.
This year’s cycling season is still going on, but we can already say that this cycling spring was very unexpected in every way. You know, we were all affected by covid-19.The bicycle industry was also not affected by this. In the spring, everything was put under warranty and we were also very worried. We already thought of several dark scenarios that for how many years we will sell this season’s bikes, because the sales in March were, to put it mildly, nadi. Then April came and all those people who could no longer go to training and traveling by public transport were not recommended, now rushed to buy bicycles. After all, a bicycle is great and a means of moving in the fresh air without having to fear the risk of infection. Like most bike shops around the world, we sold more bikes than ever since April, and soon we were faced with the fact that we no longer had as many bikes to offer people as they would have liked.
So that there is no bad without good: when Covid-19 started raging, a very large number of people thought that it was reasonable to ride a bicycle. It is good for our health, soul and certainly for the health of our lovely earth. I do believe that small changes that each of us can actually make will help change the world for the better 😊.
