In the month of March, there has been an occasional call to praise the serviceman on the radio, because March is the month of good service.In my opinion, this is a very nice call, because as Estonians, we are not exactly too exuberant with our expressions of praise. One sincere thank you, a small acknowledgment or just a smile to the server can be incredibly meaningful. I know this from my own experience and can appreciate it.
But how, as a service provider, can you offer such an experience to the customer so that he has a reason to thank you? I can safely say that the best formula is when you sell a product or service that you really believe in. And if you are a fan of this product or service, believe me, it will not go unnoticed by the customer. You don’t need to smear something on the customer’s head and you don’t need to use any sales tricks and tricks learned from a book, because if you talk about your product with a sparkle in your eyes, sincerely, with enthusiasm and honestly, then it will also reach the customer. It probably goes without saying that this requires, of course, a thorough knowledge of the product or service. (But being a fan of your product, you have of course figured out all the details a long time ago) 😊
I have been lucky in life, I have had the opportunity to sell really great products that I myself am a fan of for several years. (Here, of course, we can discuss at length whether this is luck or it was rather a decision to do something I believe in.) And it has given me an incredible number of awesome and sincere experiences with clients. Sometimes tears come to my eyes, and I would even like to hug some of them. Here are just a few examples:
- A young man who, after a tragic car accident, was told that he would be able to walk, but he certainly couldn’t ride a bicycle – in fact, all he needed was a the right bike and bold action. Admirable, what willpower and determination!
- A young girl who fell on her bicycle on the first day of school so awkwardly that she broke a bone in her arm. After that, he did not dare to sit in the saddle of a bike for two years. But then, by chance, he came to try bicycles at my place and now he is quite confidently racing around on his bike.
- The gentleman came to see the electric bike for his wife. He tried, tested, researched everything very thoroughly, compared models down to the last detail, we even got to talk an incredible amount about the country and the weather. Finally, after three hours, he left the store with the decision to buy both himself and his wife e-bike . When he came to pick up the e-bikes with a trailer, he handed me a box of chocolates and told me to let you know when new models arrive…

Ilona’s story:
As original city people, we made a spontaneous decision at some point – we moved to live in the countryside. Early spring nature, our own garden, non-cooperative household and soul-touching silence – it was all such a big and intoxicating change that we couldn’t integrate in any way just by staying still. A few days after moving, we realized that we need bicycles to relate to the new environment. And if you are going to buy something, let the vehicles be stylish and comfortable! The criteria were established, so every member of the litter dived into the internet to make their own choices. It was the first spring of the pandemic, delivery times and possible testing were tighter than usual, to mitigate risks and support local merchants, we only browsed the offers of .ee stores.
Everything that follows is like a series of incredible lottery wins😊. When we started to show each other the favorites we found after hours of searching, it turned out to be an amazing coincidence that my son and I both had only one preference out of several hundred options, and it was exactly the same bike for both of us – Cruiser Lux Fat Tire 7D, which is sold by a shop on Kadaka Road in Tallinn Electra Bicycles! There was no way we could come to an agreement that one of the two of us would still choose another model, because there was no courage to blindly buy two identical bikes without experience.
When the ordered Cruiser was handed over to us personally in the backyard by the nice family business that deals with sales, with the driving conditions set up, the vision still became quite watery-foggy, because the realitys turned out to be more stylish and powerful than the online store’s clan pictures let us guess! Now we boldly ordered the same model again and we are waiting for our second happy bike with great anxiety, as if there will be an addition to the family by bringing home a puppy or a kitten:) Riding this bike will make you happy in an instant! Cruiser Fat’s design and comfort and stoic durability are values that you simply can never get enough of. Thanks to our Cruiser, a large number of nice acquaintances with new community members took place throughout the riding season, because our rides almost always ended with passers-by waving, taking pictures or curious conversations. It’s just such a remarkable bike that it creates strong positive emotions for everyone.
